It was announced this week that Jake Muller (Class '13) son of Charlie and Kimberly Muller, brother to Haley Muller (Class '15) was awarded National Merit Semi-Finalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. The National Merit Scholarship annually recognizes only a few top students across the country based upon performance on the PSAT. TFA students grades 8-11 take the PSAT in October. For students grade 8-10 it is considered to be good practice for the SAT test which is a college entrance standard. However, for 11th graders, the PSAT is important because of the National Merit Scholarship Program. Scoring well on this test propels 11th graders' college prospects. Jake's academic success is certainly meritorious and TFA is very proud of him. Congratulations, Jake!

We are so excited to be celebrating the first day of school at TFA 25 years ago! Please join us at the athletic complex for a special event that will include an all-school photograph, performances from the TFA Band and Cheerleaders, and a time capsule ceremony.
